Action will be taken on ambulance employee, accused of demanding money from patient’s family
Ambikapur. Free 108 facility has been started to provide relief to the people so that people can take advantage of it and get health facilities, but the work of discounting this free service is being done in the health minister’s home area itself. The surprising thing is that the ambulance staff are demanding money from the relatives of the patient. There has been a stir after the video of asking for such money surfaced and now it is being said that investigation and action will be taken.
Describing the matter as serious, Health Minister TS Singhdev has given assurance of action as per rules. The Health Minister said that such people should be removed from service. Explain that the private company operates 108. In such a situation, if money is demanded now, then penalty will be imposed.
Actually, the matter is about referring the patient from the medical college, where after referring the patient money was being demanded from him, only then the person present there made a video of it. In the video, money is being demanded in the name of food. Here, after the video surfaced, the said employee is refusing to demand money, while the 108 management, taking cognizance of the matter, has ordered an inquiry into it. But the question is that after all, if 108 is a free scheme, then how serious is the demand for money in this and what kind of action is taken regarding it.
