Gujarat: Congress uproar over Rahul Gandhi’s issue in Assembly, Congress MLA suspended for the entire session
Retirement benefits including pension, tax collection expenditure, power projects were to be discussed during the Question Hour on Monday in the session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. But even before this, Congress members created ruckus as soon as they entered the House wearing black clothes. Congress members were protesting in the Vidhansabha over Rahul Gandhi’s case. Due to which he was suspended till the end of the season.
Balwant Singh supports Hrishikesh Patel’s proposal
Parliamentary Minister Hrishikesh Patel proposed that all Congress MLAs be suspended till the assembly session is over. His proposal was supported by cabinet minister Balwant Singh Rajput. The Speaker said in the House that the decision taken in the Lok Sabha cannot be discussed or opposed in the Vidhan Sabha. Eventually all the MLAs were suspended till the end of the session.

On the other hand, on the Adani issue, the opposition MPs protested in the Parliament House wearing black clothes and carrying posters. Due to which the proceedings of the Parliament were adjourned.
