Three masked miscreants carried out the incident of looting one and a half lakh rupees
Jansath. On May 17, a case of robbery of Rs 1.5 lakh by three bike-borne masked miscreants from a Bandhan Bank employee near Kawal village of police station area came to light. After investigation, the police has disclosed the matter. The script of the robbery case was written by the Bandhan banker himself. Disclosing the matter, the police arrested the accused and sent him to jail.
It may be noted that Bandhan Bank is located in Adarsh Colony of Jansath town. In this, Indrajeet, a resident of Mohadipur village of district Bijnor, is an employee. On May 17, at around 4 pm, Indrajit was returning from village Bihari and Sikheda by bike after collecting one lakh fifty thousand rupees for the installment of the women’s group loan. On the Panipat-Khatima highway, near the construction site of the ongoing underpass in Kawal village, three masked miscreants riding a bike hit it and knocked it down. The miscreants put a pistol on his temple and ran away after looting a bag of money. There was one lakh fifty thousand rupees in the bag, the FIR of this incident was lodged by Bandhan Bank employee Indrajeet in the police station.
The case was being investigated by SI Vikrant Kumar Kawal Chowki in-charge. Disclosing the robbery, Police Officer Shakeel Ahmed said that Bandhan Bank employee Indrajit himself had hatched the conspiracy. The police have also recovered the looted amount of Rs 1 lakh 50 from Indrajeet. The local police arrested the accused Indrajit resident of village Mohidinpur alias Sadpur and sent him to jail. Station in-charge Dinesh Kumar said that the police was probing the matter, the looted amount of Rs 1.5 lakh has been recovered from the accused. The accused is being sent to jail.
