Youth arrested for selling liquor near Marwari crematorium
Raipur. A young man selling liquor near the Marwari cremation ground has been arrested. According to the information, Thana Kotwali police received information that a person has kept and selling liquor near Marwari cremation ground located in Virbhadra Nagar under Thana Kotwali area. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Kotwali, the police team of police station Kotwali identified and arrested the person of the character told by the informer. During interrogation, the person told his name to be Sanju Rege resident of Kotwali.
When team members searched the gunny bag kept with him, country liquor was found in the gunny bag. Sanju Rege was constantly trying to mislead the team members by not presenting any document on demand of valid documents regarding possession of liquor. On which accused Sanju Rege was arrested and kept illegally from his possession by seizing 28 pauva country liquor and sale amount Jumla worth Rs 3,680/- against the accused in police station Kotwali crime number 271/23 section 34(2) of Excise Act Registered and processed.
