It is to be known that Chandrakar, the treasurer of Chhattisgarh Rice Millers Association, had given a written complaint to Union Minister Piyush Goyal saying that additional money has to be sent to central government ministers and senior officers of Delhi, saying that FCI has recovered crores of extra money from Chhattisgarh. In the year 21-22, 3244615 metric tonnes of rice was taken by Bhakhani, in which illegal extortion of 67.13 crores has been done. The same process was adopted in the year 2022-23 also, in which illegal extortion of Rs 85.85 crore has been done at the rate of Rs 7500 per lot instead of taking 3319343 metric tonnes of rice. Chandrakar told that earlier millers had to pay Rs 6,000 per lot. When he protested against the loot happening with him, the officers used to silence him by threatening to put him in the blacklist.

After this, 43 officers of the state were transferred in one stroke.
