Shakeel Ahmed Khan became the leader of Congress Legislature Party in Bihar

Patna (IANS) | In the Bihar Congress Legislature Party meeting held on Saturday, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan was elected as the leader of the Congress Legislature Party. Earlier Ajit Sharma was the leader of the Legislature Party. A meeting of the Congress Legislature Party was held at State Congress Headquarters Sadakat Ashram on Saturday, in which Dr. Khan was unanimously elected as the leader of the Legislature Party.

Congress state in-charge Bhakta Charan Das, former state in-charge Shakti Singh Gohil, state president Akhilesh Prasad Singh and former state president Madan Mohan Jha were also present in the meeting.

There is a possibility that Ajit Sharma may get a place in the cabinet. Congress has been continuously demanding cabinet expansion from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

It is notable that after the formation of the Grand Alliance government in Bihar, continuous changes are being made in the Congress.

Here, former MLA Narendra Kumar, media panelist Sharbat Jahan Fatima, former State Youth Congress president Lalan Kumar, former secretary Sujit Kumar Sinha and senior Congress leader Shankar Swaroop Paswan congratulated Shakeel Ahmed Khan after he was elected as the leader of the Legislature Party. Said that this will make the party stronger.
