Minor student allegedly raped under the guise of private tutoring; nephew recorded a video.
Orai. A serious case of alleged sexual exploitation of a minor student has come to light from Orai Kotwali area of Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that a tuition teacher sexually exploited the student on the pretext of studies. Meanwhile, the minor nephew of the accused teacher made a video of the incident and shared it with his friends. Later this video got circulated on social media. After the video surfaced, the student’s family came to know about the incident. After this the family complained to the police and demanded action against the accused teacher. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case against the teacher under sections of rape and POCSO Act. Further action has been taken by taking the accused teacher and his minor nephew who made the video into custody.
According to the information received, the entire matter is of Orai Kotwali area. A minor student used to go here for tuition. It is alleged that the teacher sexually assaulted the student during this period. Considering the young age of the student and the family’s trust in the teacher, this matter is being considered very serious. The family alleges that the teacher misused his responsibility and committed a crime with the student.
