
UTTARAKHAND:In Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, unemployed nursing candidates marched towards the Chief Minister’s residence to press for their demands. During the protest, the police detained several demonstrators. Amidst this, chaos ensued when a detained candidate allegedly attempted to slit their wrist.
Following the incident, the police and administration intervened immediately and provided medical assistance to the candidate. Officials stated that the candidate’s condition is being closely monitored, and the necessary legal procedures and an investigation into the entire episode are underway.

Unemployed nursing candidates have been agitating for a long time regarding recruitment processes and employment-related demands. As part of this movement, a large number of candidates set out to march towards the Chief Minister’s residence.
To maintain law and order and ensure security, the police attempted to stop the protesters at a designated location. Subsequently, some protesters were taken into preventive custody.

According to the police, one of the detained candidates allegedly attempted to slit their wrist. Upon learning of the incident, police personnel present at the scene intervened immediately and sent the candidate for medical care.
