A new chapter in the Sanatan tradition: Juna Akhara establishes Valmiki Akhara.

UTTARAKHAND: In a significant announcement concerning the Sanatan tradition and the Akhada system, the Juna Akhada has officially declared the formation of the Valmiki Akhada. During the religious ceremony held on this occasion, Krishnanand Giri Maharaj was conferred the title of ‘Jagadguru’. This decision is viewed as a significant initiative from both religious and social perspectives, aimed at expanding the Sanatan tradition and fostering the participation of diverse communities.

A large number of saints, Mahamandaleshwars, devotees, and office-bearers associated with the Akhada attended the ceremony. The announcement was formalized amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras and traditional rituals.
Objective of Forming the Valmiki Akhada
According to Juna Akhada officials, the objective behind establishing the Valmiki Akhada is to propagate the teachings of Maharshi Valmiki, Sanatan culture, and the message of social harmony on a broad scale.
