Chaos in Tewada village, five injured in armed attack

Kakarwali (Muzaffarnagar). A minor altercation turned violent late Monday evening in Tewada village, under the Kakarwali police station area. Following a dispute between two groups, one group allegedly attacked the other with sharp weapons and iron rods. Five people, including a woman, were injured in the attack. The incident caused panic in the village. Police arrived at the scene immediately after receiving information and rushed the injured to the hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case against five named individuals and several unidentified individuals and initiated an investigation.
According to information, Riyaz, a resident of Tewada village, filed a complaint with the Kakarwali police station, stating that his nephew, Sami Hussain, was sitting at his public service center in the village on Monday evening. It is alleged that Mujeeb, a resident of the same village, arrived there with his friends, Abuzar, Rizwan, Parvez, Sabid, Tanjim, and approximately eight to ten unidentified individuals.
The victim’s side alleges that the accused brought weapons such as an axe, a drum, and an iron rod. Upon arriving, they began abusing and insulting Sami Hussain. The situation quickly escalated, and the accused began assaulting him.
Hearing the commotion, other members of Sami Hussain’s family arrived at the scene. They attempted to calm the situation, but the attackers allegedly attacked the family members who came to intervene. Several people were injured in the sudden attack.
Five people, including Shamim, Iltefat, and Shafqat, were reportedly injured in the attack. A woman is also reported to be among the injured. Following the attack, there was screaming and shouting at the scene. Nearby residents informed the police.
Upon receiving the information, the Kakarwali police station immediately arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control. Police rushed all the injured to the Community Health Center, Bhopa, where, after providing first aid, doctors referred three of the injured to the district hospital, considering their condition to be serious.
According to police officials, based on the complaint filed by the victim, Riyaz, a case has been registered under serious sections against five named and other unidentified accused, including Mujeeb, Abuzar, and Rizwan. Police have launched a manhunt to find the accused.
The police station says the entire matter is being thoroughly investigated. All facts and evidence related to the incident are being collected. Officials stated that the village is under surveillance to maintain law and order, and strict action will be taken against the culprits as per the law.
Meanwhile, the injured party has requested protection from the police administration, citing threats to their lives from the accused. The police have assured the victim’s family of a fair investigation and action.
