Brutality with the elderly: Son, daughter-in-law and grandsons together beat up the elderly father brutally.

In the New Azad Nagar locality here, a young son, daughter-in-law and three grandsons not only brutally beat their own 61-year-old elderly father, but also pushed him out of his own house. At this advancing age, an elderly victim, who was a victim of atrocities by his own people, has approached the police for justice. Based on the written complaint of the elderly, the local police station Daba took immediate action and registered a criminal case against the five accused members of the family and started further legal investigation. In his written complaint given to the police, 61-year-old victim Joginder Choudhary, while narrating his ordeal, said that he lives with his family in New Azad Nagar area. But for a long time, his own house had become no less than a hell for him. Joginder Choudhary alleged that his real son Anil Kumar, daughter-in-law Pammi Devi and his three real grandsons Deepak Kumar, Nikhil Kumar and Pawan Kumar used to argue with him every day without any reason and used to abuse him using very indecent language. The victim said that being the head of the family, he tried several times to convince his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. With folded hands he requested them not to undergo such inhuman treatment and said that they should not be subjected to mental and physical torture at this age. But the explanation had no positive effect on the accused, rather their courage and cruelty increased with time. Instead of improving, the situation became so bad that the accused allegedly started giving death threats to the old man and started conspiring to throw him out with the intention of taking over the house. This mental torture took a terrible form when these five accused together attacked elderly Joginder Chaudhary. He was brutally beaten and eventually thrown out of the house in a destitute condition. At this age when an elderly person needs the support and respect of his children, he was forced to come to the streets after facing beatings from his own people. After this incident, the elderly victim was completely broken from within, but without losing courage, he went to Daba police station and informed the police about the entire torture. Considering the sensitivity of the matter and the helplessness of the elderly, police station Daba took immediate action without any delay. On the basis of the complaint of victim Joginder Chaudhary, the police have registered an FIR under relevant sections against his son Anil Kumar, daughter-in-law Pammi Devi and three grandsons Deepak, Nikhil and Pawan Kumar. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police have started investigation by going to the area and the nearby neighbors are also being interrogated regarding this incident of family dispute and fight. Giving information about the case, the investigating officer of police station Daba said that the police has given priority to the safety of the elderly and a case has been registered against all the five accused. Police say that all the technical and ground aspects of this family and legal matter are being investigated in depth. On the basis of whatever facts and evidence emerge in the investigation, all the accused will soon be arrested and further strict legal action will be taken. This incident has once again raised a big question mark on the safety and rights of the elderly in the society.
