Kajal’s reaction on being cast in Ramayan

Entertainment: Actress Kajal Aggarwal has spoken openly about her character and experience regarding the film ‘Ramayana Part 1’. In this film she is playing the role of Mandodari, Ravana’s wife. Kajal told that her screen time will be limited in this big project, because the story of the film focuses on the life and journey of Lord Ram in the first part, hence there are very few scenes related to Lanka. In an interview, Kajal Aggarwal said that the shooting of the first part of the film has been completed so far. He told that even though his role is not big, being a part of such a big and grand project is a very special experience for him. According to him, this is not just a film but a grand cinematic project, which will reach audiences across the world and present Indian culture on a large scale. Kajal further said that ‘Ramayana’ is a story of our country which every Indian knows since childhood. He said that this is not just a story but a part of Indian culture and sentiments, with which he is proud to be associated. Kajal Aggarwal also praised actor Yash, who is playing the role of Ravana in the film. He said that Yash is a great actor and is completely dedicated to this project. Being a co-producer, he has paid attention to every small and big thing, which is making the film even stronger. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Mata Sita, Ravi Dubey is playing the role of Laxman and Sunny Deol is playing the role of Hanuman. The first part of this film directed by director Nitesh Tiwari will be released in Diwali 2026 and the second part in Diwali 2027.
