Assistant Professor recruitment exam results released, more than 42 thousand candidates had given the paper.

Tamil Nadu: The Teachers Selection Board has released the results of the written examination conducted for direct recruitment to the vacant posts of Assistant Professor in Government Arts and Science Colleges and Education Colleges. The examination was held on December 27, 2025, and a total of 42,064 candidates participated. The Board stated that after the examination, the evaluation of all question papers was completed based on the final answer key, and the candidates’ scores were calculated accordingly. These scores have now been released on the Teachers Selection Board’s official website, where candidates can check their results.
A press release issued by Teachers Selection Board Chairman S. Jayanti stated that this examination was conducted for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor in Government Arts and Science Colleges and Government Education Colleges. The examination process was conducted as per the prescribed rules and the evaluation process was completed with complete transparency. The evaluation of answer sheets was finalized only after the release of the final answer key, based on which the results have now been declared.
The Board has clarified that work experience marks will be awarded only after document verification. For this, all candidates must submit their original educational certificates, work experience certificates, and all other necessary documents related to their educational qualifications. The Board has also clarified that only original documents will be accepted during the verification process. Any photocopies or documents submitted later will not be valid and will not be accepted.
The press release further states that detailed information regarding the date and venue of document verification will be released separately at a later date. Candidates are advised to regularly monitor the official website of the Teachers Selection Board to avoid missing any important information. The final merit list will be prepared after the document verification process is completed, including work experience marks.
