Pune Lohagad Fort ‘Death Deal’ Finalized in Café! Murder Method Searched on YouTube

Pune: In a shocking revelation, the death of 26-year-old Ketan Agrawal, son of a prominent Pune real estate businessman, has been exposed as a cold-blooded, premeditated murder orchestrated by his own fiancée, Siya Goyal, and her lover Chetan Choudhary.
Initially believed to be an accidental fall, police investigation has uncovered a chilling blueprint of conspiracy hatched over months.
‘Death Deal’ Finalized in a Café!
According to CCTV footage obtained by police, Siya and her lover Chetan spent nearly an hour at a Pune cafe on June 17 — just one day before the murder. It was there that they allegedly finalized plans on where and how to kill Ketan.
Investigators found that Siya had searched for the complete map of Lohagad Fort on her mobile and looked up videos on YouTube on “how to commit a murder.”
How the Murder Blueprint Was Drawn:
Over 2,000 calls in 6 months: Call records revealed Siya and Chetan spoke more than 2,000 times between January and June 18. Though she agreed to marry Ketan under family pressure, she was secretly in love with Chetan.
Trip changed to set the trap: Siya deliberately cancelled a pre-decided Bali pre-wedding trip. On the pretext of celebrating her birthday, she lured Ketan to Lohagad Fort near Lonavala.
Pushed 400 feet to death: On June 18, as per plan, Ketan was pushed into a 400-foot deep gorge at the fort after a secret signal. Siya initially told police and family that he slipped while taking a selfie.
Sister’s Suspicion Cracked the Case
Ketan’s sister grew suspicious of Siya’s behavior after his death. Based on the family’s complaint, Pune Rural Police launched a scientific investigation and examined digital data. Siya’s lies soon unravelled.
On June 23, police arrested both 20-year-old Siya Goyal and 22-year-old Chetan Choudhary. The court has remanded them to police custody till June 29.
The case has sent shockwaves through Pune’s high-profile business community. Police have registered a case of murder and criminal conspiracy and further investigation is underway.“
