Restrictions imposed on CM Vijay’s thanksgiving programme in Trichy East
Tamil Nadu: Rural Development and Water Resources Minister and TAVEGA General Secretary N. Anand has stated that special restrictions have been imposed during Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay’s thanksgiving program in the Trichy East constituency. He made this known in an official statement issued on Sunday.
According to the statement, TDP leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay plans to meet and thank voters in the Trichy East Assembly constituency who supported and voted for him. This event is being organized as a thanksgiving ceremony, in which the Chief Minister will reach out to the public and express his gratitude.
According to government information, the event will be held on Monday (June 1) at 4:15 pm at the St. Joseph’s College campus in Trichy. In view of the large number of people expected at the venue, the administration has made special arrangements for security and crowd control.
The statement clarified that only 5,000 people will be allowed entry into the event. Entry will be strictly controlled, and QR code-based entry tickets have been issued. No one without a QR code ticket will be allowed to enter the venue. The administration states that this arrangement is intended to control crowds and ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
TAVEGA stated that this event is a political and public relations activity, in which the Chief Minister will directly interact with his supporters and the local public. Instructions have also been issued to the relevant departments regarding security arrangements at the venue to prevent any disruption.
Special arrangements have also been made for traffic and security in the area during the event. The local administration has indicated that additional police forces may be deployed for crowd control. QR code scanning has also been implemented at entry points to ensure that only authorized personnel are allowed inside.
In his statement, N. Anand stated that the event is intended to express gratitude to the public and will be conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner. He also said that the decision to allow a limited number of people was taken keeping in mind security and management.
The event is considered politically significant in the Trichy East region, as this will be the first time the Chief Minister will directly interact with the public at such a large thanksgiving event.
