Anna University has released the TANCET and CEET-PG 2026 results.

Tamil Nadu: The results of major entrance exams for higher education in Tamil Nadu have been declared. Anna University on Friday released the results of the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2026) for postgraduate courses like MBA and MCA, as well as CEET-PG 2026 and CET-PG 2026 for M.E., M.Tech., and other engineering postgraduate courses.

A press release was issued by Sreedharan, Secretary of Anna University Common Entrance Examinations. He stated that the CEET-PG 2026 entrance exam for engineering postgraduate courses like M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., and M.Plan. was held on May 10. A total of 5,877 students had registered for the exam, of which 5,137 appeared, while 740 were absent.

Similarly, a large number of students participated in the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PG CET). A total of 30,919 students registered for the exam, of which 27,468 appeared. 3,451 students did not participate.

These entrance exams are conducted for admission to various technical and management courses in Tamil Nadu. TANCET provides admission to courses like MBA and MCA, while CEET-PG and CET-PG provide admission to engineering and related postgraduate programs.

According to university officials, the examination process was conducted in a completely transparent and centralized manner, ensuring fair selection of eligible candidates. With the release of the results, counseling and further admission processes for students are expected to begin soon.
