Arunachal: Army organises yoga sessions

MECHUKHA: The Spearhead Division of the Indian Army, under the aegis of the Spear Corps on Friday conducted rejuvenating yoga sessions at Mechukha and Manigong in Shi-Yomi district.
The yoga sessions were part of a series of activities being organised ahead of the 12th International Yoga Day to encourage greater participation and reinforce the message of harmony between mind, body and nature.
The yoga sessions highlighted the importance of yoga in fostering physical fitness, mental resilience and inner harmony.
Participants performed various yogic exercises and breathing techniques, aimed at enhancing overall wellbeing and promoting a balanced lifestyle.
The initiative also reflected the Indian Army’s continued emphasis on healthy living, discipline and mental wellness, while spreading awareness about the timeless values and global significance of yoga.
