Heat wave conditions hit 8 places in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu: A press release issued by the Chennai Meteorological Department on Wednesday stated:
In Tamil Nadu, the highest daytime temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 105.18 degrees Fahrenheit in Paramathevellur. Furthermore, Erode recorded 104 degrees Celsius, Vellore 102.74 degrees Celsius, Namakkal 102.02 degrees Celsius, Tirupattur 101.84 degrees Celsius, Palakkad 101.48 degrees Celsius, Madurai Airport 101.12 degrees Celsius, and Trichy 100.04 degrees Celsius.
Maximum temperatures will remain above normal in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal from Thursday (April 9th) to April 12th.
Rainfall likely: A low pressure area extends from Chhattisgarh to Telangana, Rayalaseema, and interior Tamil Nadu, extending into the Gulf of Mannar.
Due to this, isolated light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on Thursday. Furthermore, light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in the Western Highlands districts on Friday and Saturday (April 10 and 11). Isolated light rain is likely in the rest of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
