Startup Hub Being Established for Youth in Kadapa

Kadapa: District Collector Dr. Sridhar Cherukuri stated that efforts are underway to complete the construction of the ‘Startup Kadapa’ building by next month, with the aim of supporting young entrepreneurs and skilled youth. Addressing Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) via a video conference on Sunday, the Collector explained that the objective of this initiative is to provide skill training and mentorship to unemployed graduates and budding entrepreneurs. This project features a modern four-story building spanning approximately 30,000 square feet.
The center will house a large conference hall with a seating capacity of around 100–120 people, five to six mini-conference halls, another meeting hall for 25–30 people, and cubicles for small-group discussions. Dr. Cherukuri emphasized that mentorship would serve as a crucial pillar of this ecosystem, and he invited industry experts and NRIs to guide young startups and assist in fostering a sustainable innovation ecosystem in Kadapa.
