Jammu: Ranvijay Singh meets LG

Jammu: Ranvijay Singh, Trustee of the Maharaja Gulab Singh Trust, today met with Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, and briefed him on an upcoming seminar dedicated to Raja Amar Singh. During the meeting, Ranvijay Singh briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the objectives and significance of the proposed seminar, which aims to honor the legacy, vision, and contributions of Raja Amar Singh. He explained that the event will focus on raising awareness about the region’s rich history, cultural heritage, and the values ββof progressive governance, unity, and public service associated with the Dogra rulers, and will also release a book on the life and legacy of Maharaja Pratap Singh.
The Trustee informed the Lieutenant Governor that the seminar will include scholarly discussions, historical presentations, and public participation, with a special emphasis on educating the younger generation about the historical milestones, administrative reforms, and socio-cultural contributions made during the reign of Raja Amar Singh. He emphasized that such initiatives play a vital role in preserving heritage while fostering a sense of pride, identity, and responsibility among citizens. Ranvijay Singh officially requested the Lieutenant Governor to attend the event as the chief guest, stating that his presence would greatly inspire the organizers and participants and enhance the dignity and significance of the seminar.
The Lieutenant Governor commended the efforts of the Trust and Foundation to promote historical awareness and cultural values ββand extended his best wishes for the successful organization of the program in Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, the Lieutenant Governor unveiled a calendar dedicated to the legends of Jammu and Kashmir at Lok Bhawan. The calendar was published by Slimline Clinic of Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition, Jammu. The Lieutenant Governor congratulated Mitali Gupta, Founder of Slimline Clinic of Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition, and all those involved in the publication of the calendar. The calendar highlights prominent personalities from Jammu and Kashmir who have made significant contributions to society.
