Single window system for pilot projects: Minister Kovi Cheliyan

Tamil Nadu: Higher Education Minister Kovi Chellian announced that student applications for research doctorate degrees at universities under the Tamil Nadu Higher Education Department will now be accepted through a single-window system.

Regarding this, he announced the following in the Assembly on Thursday:

Admissions to doctoral studies at Periyar University, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Thiruvalluvar University, etc., are conducted through a single-window system. It has been decided to implement this system in all government universities under the Higher Education Department.

Under this system, students will be able to select their research field and location online. He said that these activities are planned to be monitored through an integrated software framework.
