Indian Coast Guard Flies Cardiac Patient from Agatti to Kochi in Heroic Night Mission

A man suffered a heart attack on an island in the middle of the ocean. The Indian Coast Guard responded in time and rushed him to the hospital and saved his life. A 55-year-old man suffered a heart attack on Agatti Island in Lakshadweep. The Lakshadweep Administration then sent an SOS message to the Indian Coast Guard.
The Indian Coast Guard immediately responded and rushed him to Kochi. The victim was evacuated from Agatti Island by the medical team in the aircraft’s Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU). Later, he was shifted to a private hospital in Kochi, Coast Guard officials said.
Officials said that the victim’s condition is currently stable and he is receiving treatment. They said that the Indian Coast Guard will carry out operations like Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) to ensure immediate response in case of medical emergencies in Lakshadweep. They said that this month, two people have been airlifted for medical treatment.
