Op Sindoor Tableau Shines at Republic Day Parade

New Delhi: The ‘Operation Sindoor’ tableau at India’s 77th Republic Day Parade was particularly impressive. It reflected the combined capabilities of the country’s three services. The tableau showcased how the Army, Navy and Air Force worked together in Operation Sindoor. It was decorated with replicas of missiles, tanks and an integrated command center. Replicas of Brahmos cruise missiles, Akash air defense systems and S-400 units, described as the Sudarshana Chakra, were displayed. It gave a clear message about the country’s military preparedness amid growing security challenges. The Operation Sindoor tableau showcased the joint combat capability of the country’s armed forces.

Meanwhile, in April last year, 26 people, including tourists, were killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. In retaliation, India launched a military operation named ‘Operation Sindoor’ on May 7 last year. Indian forces destroyed terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and along the Pakistani border. More than a hundred terrorists were killed.

On the other hand, the Pakistani army resorted to provocations on this occasion. The Indian military forces responded befittingly. They destroyed key Pakistani air bases. Due to this, on May 10 last year, the Pakistani army came to a standstill. It signed a ceasefire agreement with India.
