Telangana: Phone-tapping investigation: Sajjanar faces allegations of criminal offenses.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar, who heads the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the phone tapping cases, issued a notice on Friday to BRS leader and former IPS officer R.S. Praveen Kumar, demanding proof of the allegations he had made earlier in the day.

Praveen Kumar had alleged that the SIT chief has seven criminal cases registered against him. Sajjanar has asked him to provide complete and specific details of the alleged criminal cases registered against the SIT chief within two days of receiving the notice.

Sajjanar stated that if he fails to do so, appropriate civil and criminal action will be initiated against Kumar as per the law.
