‘Kingmakers IAS’ academy offers 6 lakh rupees to Jallikattu athletes

Tamil Nadu: The ‘Kingmakers IAS Academy’ is offering a prize money of ₹6 lakh to the top three bullfighters in the Alanganallur Jallikattu Competition.

In this regard, its Managing Director Bhoominathan issued a press release:

The world-famous Jallikattu competition will be held on Saturday (January 17), the Pongal festival, in Alanganallur, Madurai. The Kingmakers IAS Academy has announced the prize money for the participating and winning bullfighters.

According to this, the player who wins the competition and takes first place will receive ₹3 lakh, the second place player will receive ₹2 lakh, and the third place player will receive ₹1 lakh.

He said that this prize money has been announced to honor the traditional Tamil game and to show pride in Tamil culture.
