CM Revanth Reddy’s visit to Adilabad.. Jogu Ramanna house arrest

In the wake of CM Revanth Reddy’s visit to Adilabad district, the police showed great enthusiasm. BRS party district president and former minister Jogu Ramanna was placed under house arrest. Along with Jogu Ramanna, several BRS leaders were placed under house arrest. The arrest of BRS leaders has created a high tension in the district.

Speaking on the occasion, Jogu Ramanna criticized the trial run of the Chanaka Korata project with the elections in mind as a shameful act. He said that KCR had undertaken the construction of the project in full during the BRS government with the intention of providing water to 50,000 acres of farmers in Adilabad district and had worked with determination for the farmers. But the Congress government, which came to power with false promises, criticized the trial run and launch of the project without providing even a single acre as a shameful act.

Jogu Ramanna was furious that the police had made pre-arrests since midnight on Saturday in the wake of the CM’s visit, saying it was undemocratic. He suggested that it was not right to arrest the leaders of Bhela, Jainath and Adilabad mandals everywhere. He said that farmers are opposing the visit of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who cannot provide water to even a single acre. He was furious that this Chief Minister, who is not interested in solving the problems of farmers, is cheating by calling it a trial run, keeping only the elections in mind.
