Indore: DAVV teachers have come out in support of the steps taken to protect the university’s land.

Madhya Pradesh: Amidst growing concerns over encroachment on Devi Ahilya University (DAVV) land, the university’s teachers, staff, and Executive Council members have expressed strong support for protecting the institution’s property.
This development comes three days after Samvad Kranti raised concerns about the shrinking land area of ββthe university, which has since garnered widespread support from the academic community. In two separate letters written by two different teachers’ associations of DAVV, support was extended to the memorandum submitted by Samvad Kranti to the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, emphasizing that the continuous reduction in DAVV’s land poses a threat to long-term academic expansion.
The letters state that over the past few years, several government and semi-government departments have encroached upon portions of the university’s land for non-academic purposes without following proper procedures. They warn that these encroachments are compromising campus security, limiting space for academic development, and delaying the establishment of new faculties, research institutions, hostels, sports complexes, and other educational infrastructure.
