Nora Fatehi will be shooting a special song for Jailer 2, and Rajinikanth will also be a part of it.

Entertainment: The shooting of Jailer 2, the sequel to Rajinikanth and Nelson’s film Jailer, is currently underway. Jailer was one of the biggest blockbuster films of Indian cinema in 2023, and a major reason behind its pre-release hype was the special song “Kaavaalaa” filmed on Tamannaah Bhatia. This high-energy song went viral and garnered millions of views on YouTube. The sequel will also feature a special song.
Nora Fatehi, known for her chartbuster special songs in Bollywood and also familiar to Telugu audiences through films like Baahubali, Temper, Oopiri, and Kick 2, has been signed for the special song in Jailer 2. She is currently shooting for the song in Chennai. The shoot is expected to be completed in eight days, with Rajinikanth also participating.
Nora Fatehi is perhaps the only Indian actress who has featured in nearly 20 special songs in her career, including major hits like “Dilbar,” “O Saki O Saki,” and “Kusu Kusu.” Keeping the Hindi market in mind, the makers have cast her for this special song. Nora Fatehi is also currently working on Kanchana 4, a Tamil film from Raghav Lawrence’s popular horror franchise.
Jailer 2 is expected to release in June 2026, as confirmed by Rajinikanth himself a few months ago. The film stars Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, and SJ Suryah, and cameos from Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, and Mithun Chakraborty are expected. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, and Sun Pictures is producing the sequel.
