Jalandhar: Kashmiri student attacked at LPU.

Jalandhar: A Kashmiri student of Lovely Professional University (LPU) was allegedly beaten up by a group of students in the Green Valley area near LPU late Tuesday evening, triggering concern among students and prompting immediate police intervention.
The victim has been identified as Sheikh Kafeel Ahmed, a computer science student at LPU. He is a resident of Firdous Abad, Lane Number 9, Baramulla.
According to initial reports, the altercation took place in the Green Valley block, where some students allegedly attacked Kafeel for reasons that are yet to be ascertained.
The police reached the spot immediately after receiving the information and took the injured student to Johal Hospital in Rama Mandi, where he was admitted for treatment late at night. Medical staff confirmed that Kafeel’s condition is stable and he is recovering under the care of doctors.
