Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh congratulated the new CJI.

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, and Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer have congratulated Justice Surya Kant on his assumption of office as the Chief Justice of India.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended Justice Surya Kant’s swearing-in ceremony as the Chief Justice of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi this morning. The Chief Minister congratulated Chief Justice Surya Kant on his assumption of office and wished him a successful and impactful tenure. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Naidu also congratulated the new Chief Justice. He posted on ‘X’, “Hearty congratulations to Hon’ble Justice Surya Kant ji on being sworn in as the 53rd Chief Justice of India. I wish him a successful and inspiring tenure in strengthening justice and constitutional values.”
Governor Abdul Nazeer also congratulated Justice Surya Kant. Former Supreme Court judge Abdul Nazeer said, “I heartily congratulate Justice Surya Kant ji on being sworn in as the 53rd Chief Justice of India. I wish you a successful and fruitful tenure.” Nara Lokesh, Minister of Human Resource Development, Information Technology and Real Time Governance of Andhra Pradesh, also congratulated the new Chief Justice of India.
Lokesh wrote on ‘X’, “Hearty congratulations to Hon’ble Justice Surya Kant ji on being sworn in as the 53rd Chief Justice of India. His illustrious service, deep commitment to constitutional values, and impeccable judicial record will be of immense help as he leads the Supreme Court in upholding justice for all.”
Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party President Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also congratulated Justice Surya Kant. Jagan Mohan Reddy posted, “Congratulations to Hon’ble Justice Surya Kant ji on being sworn in as the 53rd Chief Justice of India. I wish him a full and successful tenure in upholding the constitutional spirit.”
