Maharashtra: A three-day Gurmat Samagam (congregation) commemorating the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sikh spiritual leader Guru Tegh Bahadur will begin today in Sion, Mumbai.

Event to honor the sacrifice of ‘Hind Di Chadar’

This event will commemorate the martyrdom of the ninth Guru of Sikhism, known as ‘Hind Di Chadar’. Thousands of devotees from the Mumbai area will gather to honor the Guru’s unparalleled sacrifice for human dignity, religious freedom, and justice worldwide.

This gathering is organized by the Maharashtra Sikh Association in collaboration with Guru Nanak Vidyak Sanstha, Gurdwara Guru Tegh Bahadur Darbar, Ravali Camp, Mumbai.
