Video of government doctor’s dance in UP’s Shamli goes viral, demand for investigation intensifies

Shamli: A doctor working at a government hospital in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, has been embroiled in controversy after a video allegedly showing him dancing inside his duty room surfaced online. In the video, a woman named Afkar Siddiqui is seen dancing with the doctor.

Reports claimed that the woman in the video was his fiancée. In the clip, the couple can be seen dancing to the song “Dum Dum Mast Hai…” from the Bollywood film Band Baaja Baaraat, starring Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh. In the video, Siddiqui is wearing a white vest and black track pants. The video was reportedly shot on the upper floor of the Community Health Center (CHC) in Kandhla. A Chief Medical Officer (CMO) has issued a notice to the doctor,

demanding an explanation for the incident. The doctor has reportedly been working at the CHC for a long time. A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter. In April of last year, a shocking video surfaced on social media showing doctors and staff dancing vigorously to the beat of drums inside a government hospital in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. The incident was captured on camera and went viral on social media. It showed the doctors and staff dancing inside, leaving patients alone.
