Robber gang busted in Korba, cash, bikes and mobiles seized

Korba: Police have busted a gang involved in a series of robberies. Eight accused, including a minor, have been arrested. Based on the accused’s information, police recovered the stolen two-wheelers, mobile phones, cash, and the bike used in the crime.

The arrested accused include Pramod Kumar alias Kallu (19), Vishnu alias Chhotu (18), residents of Pani Tanki Bankimongra, Vikas Shrivas (20), Raja Babu (21), Sandeep Diwakar (20), resident of Kudri Para, Rahul Yadav (18), resident of Pragati Nagar Darri, and two minors. During interrogation, all of them confessed to committing the robberies. According to the police, the gang had committed several crimes. On September 22, a young man named Amit Singh was robbed of his bike, mobile phone, and cash on the Sumedha Bridge between Bankimongra and Darri police stations. The miscreants also attempted to throw him off the bridge.

Similarly, a young woman was robbed in Balgi. At the HP petrol pump in Darri, miscreants assaulted employee Dilbodh Yadav and robbed him of cash. Dilbodh Yadav said they came on a bike at night, assaulted him, and fled. Superintendent of Police Siddharth Tiwari took these serial robberies seriously and ordered action. Following his instructions, a joint team of the Cyber ​​Cell, Bankimongra, and Darri police, under the guidance of ASP Nitish Thakur, began searching for the accused. After receiving crucial clues, the suspects were detained and interrogated, leading to the arrests.
