Plantation along the Pandri Expressway to make the road greener.

Raipur. On the instructions of the State Government’s Urban Administration and Development Department, an intensive tree plantation campaign is being carried out at designated locations within the Raipur Municipal Corporation area to transform the capital city of Raipur into a green smart city. Youth from the Young Indian Group have joined the plantation drive to make Raipur a greener city.

Today, under the auspices of the Raipur Municipal Corporation’s Environment and Horticulture Department, under the Mianwaki Scheme, led by Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Meenal Choubey, in the presence of Chairman of the Municipal Corporation’s Environment and Horticulture Department Bholaram Sahu, Deputy Commissioner of Horticulture Jasdev Singh Babra, and Executive Engineer of Horticulture Shri Gajaram Kanwar, Mayor Meenal Choubey, along with Chairman of the Environment and Horticulture Department Bholaram Sahu, and youth from the Young Indian Group, inaugurated an intensive tree plantation campaign in an area of ​​approximately 500 meters along the Pandri Expressway in the capital city.

There, approximately 1,500 saplings of various species will be systematically planted in an area of ​​approximately 500 meters along the Pandri Expressway. Each sapling will be protected and cared for until it grows into a tree, in accordance with the standards of the Mianwaki Plan, with an eye toward environmental protection and social well-being, making Raipur a green capital city.
