Bhagwant Mann should apologize for his comment on PM Modi: Sunil Jakhar

Punjab: Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar has condemned Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. “CM Bhagwant Mann ji, who knows better than you that when a person’s shadow becomes bigger than his stature, it means the sun is about to set, and when a person’s tongue becomes bigger than his status, it is a sign of the beginning of his downfall,” Jakhar tweeted. Jakhar reminded Mann that when he was a Lok Sabha MP, fellow MPs complained to the Speaker about his smell of alcohol, but today his language reeks of arrogance. The state BJP president stressed that Punjab is a sacred land with a tradition of respectful dialogue, which the chief minister has disrespected. He urged Mann to apologise for his inappropriate language.
