Punjab: 150 grams of heroin seized
Punjab: A team of CIA staff arrested three youths with 150 grams of heroin near Ramsara village, 10 km from here. The accused have been identified as Adil Luthra, Surjeet Kumar and Pawan Kumar. A case has been registered against them under sections 21 and 29 of the NDPS Act at Wahabwala police station.
Attack on differently abled youth in Bathinda
Bathinda: Police on Saturday registered a case against Joga Singh, Gaurav Joshi and some others after a video of an alleged attack on differently abled youth Harjeet Singh went viral on social media on Friday. Bathinda DSP City-1 Sandeep Singh Bhati said efforts are on to nab the suspects. Harjeet had alleged that some e-rickshaw operators were not allowing him to drive.
Youth found in canal identified
Abohar: The youth found in the canal near Bhagu village three days ago has been identified as Gurwinder Singh (20), a resident of Bhalaiyana village in Gidderbaha tehsil. Gurvinder was a labourer and had gone to Sekhon village last Sunday to meet a woman, from where he went missing, his uncle Baldev Singh said. He claimed that Gurvinder was murdered.
