Punjab: Farmers are troubled due to lack of water

Punjab: Farmers of Jalalabad subdivision are angry over the shortage of water in the Ladhuka Distributor. This distributor provides water for irrigation to dozens of villages in Fazilka district. Farmers allege that only 237 cusecs of water is being released in the canal against the approved capacity of 420 cusecs.
