Honda City Sport launched in India at Rs 14.89 lakh, Check specs and other details
Honda City has launched a new, limited mid-spec variant in India. The Honda City Sport launched as a limited edition and it costs Rs 14.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The sedan is available with 1.5-litre engine that is same as the range. The engine that is offered with Sport edition is CVT and it sits above the entry-level City V CVT variant.
Honda City Sport gets blacked-out elements on the exterior. On the interior, the City Sport gets contrasting red highlights. Mechanically the sedan is identical to the other variants. The Honda City Sport CVT costs Rs 49,000 more than the V CVT variant. The City Sport gets two additional features if compared to the V variant. This includes 7-colour ambient lighting system and leatherette for the upholstery. The safety features and features of the sedan remain the same.
Connectivity features include 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, keyless entry and go along with paddle shifters. The Sport variant offers sunroof, rear AC vents, 4 tweeters, lane watch camera, auto wipers, and auto-dimming rear view mirror.
On the exterior, the City Sport offers blacked out grille, boot spoiler, alloy wheels, shark fin antenna and rear view mirror. The Honda City Sport is available in three colour options- Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl and Meteoroid Gray Metallic.
The Honda City Sport gets 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is coupled with 7-step CVT. The engine generates 121hp output. All the variants except for the SV get manual gearbox and CVT option.
