Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma held a departmental meeting

Raipur. Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma today discussed in detail the progress, implementation and future action plans of various schemes and programs of the Revenue Department at Mahanadi Bhawan Nava Raipur. He reviewed in detail the progress on key points like digital land records, e-girdawari, drone survey based ownership scheme, map project and three-year land survey program and directed the department to complete the target within the stipulated time frame. He said that the priority of the government is to provide quick and effective services to the general public, in which the role of the Revenue Department is very important.

Minister Verma took the status of pending cases in the revenue courts seriously and gave clear guidelines for timely resolution. He said that disciplinary action should be ensured against the officers who do not dispose of the cases within the stipulated period. Policy discussions were also held on the transfer proposals of officers and employees of the Revenue Department, which included updated information on vacant posts and review of the status of charge of officers already transferred. Gave instructions to unilaterally relieve the promoted officers of the Revenue Department. The Revenue Department is the backbone of the state government, its transparency, sensitivity and timeliness strengthen the trust of the general public. He directed all the present officers to work in mission mode and ensure prompt resolution of public problems.

Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement in the quality of departmental work, said that more transparent and efficient services should be provided to the general public by adopting modern technologies and digital processes. He reviewed the updated status of modernization of NDRF, environmental infrastructure, progress of approved works and expenditure and directed the concerned officers to complete the work on priority basis. In the meeting, the digitization of departmental documents like Misal, Nistar Patrak and judicial cases was reviewed. Under this, the process of making the documents of the State Court available online and through kiosks was evaluated. Instructions were given to expedite important issues like three-year action plan of land records, e-girdawari, map projects, drone survey under ownership scheme, farmer registration and land record modernization.

In the meeting, the preparations made for protection from lightning, floods and natural disasters were also thoroughly reviewed. Along with this, the status of rehabilitation and resettlement authority, land acquisition, land records modernization, establishment of record rooms in new tehsils and approved budget expenditure was also discussed.
