DMK alliance parties are not going anywhere – Minister Shekhar Babu

Tamil Nadu : All the parties in the DMK alliance are committed. Hindu Religious and Endowments Minister Shekhar Babu said the parties are not going anywhere in search of an alliance. Minister P.K. Shekharbabu on Thursday inspected the construction work of additional classrooms being built at a cost of Rs 11.15 crore at Ekambarnath Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Kilpauk, Chennai and directed officials to complete the work soon. After this, Minister Shekhar Babu told reporters: At present 1,070 students are studying in this school. Repair work has already been done here at a cost of Rs 1.78 crore. 32 classrooms, teachers’ lounge and 5 laboratories with smart classroom facilities are being constructed at a cost of Rs 11.15 crore on the ground floor and 3 floors to create the necessary infrastructure for school students. The building will come into use by the end of this month. Breakfast and lunch are being provided to students studying in schools and colleges run by the Palani temple. This year we will implement a scheme to provide free meals three times a day to students living in school and college hostels.

The BJP is now holding the conference in Madurai due to the impact of the International Muthamizh Murugan Conference organised by the Hindu Religious and Endowments Department in Palani last year. People are identifying those who divide on the basis of religion, language and ethnicity.

Tamil Nadu BJP leader Naina Nagendran is scared. That is why he is inviting them into the alliance. All the parties involved in the DMK alliance are firm. He said those parties have not gone anywhere in search of an alliance.
