New electricity connections should be provided within the stipulated time: J. Radhakrishnan

Tamil Nadu: Electricity Board Chairman J. Radhakrishnan has directed the officials to provide electricity connections to the new factories within the stipulated time. A consultation meeting was held at the Electricity Board headquarters in Chennai on Friday regarding the prompt provision of new electricity connections to factories in the new SIPCOT Industrial Parks to be set up in various districts of Tamil Nadu. Electricity Board Chairman J. Radhakrishnan attended it and directed the concerned officials to take steps to expedite the processing of applications for high voltage electricity connections for new factories and provide electricity connections within the stipulated time and to immediately start the work of setting up a new substation with government permission for the factories being developed in the SIPCOT Industrial Park. The meeting was attended by Industries Department Principal Secretary Arun Roy, Guidance Tamil Nadu Managing Director Daresh Ahmed, SIPCOT Managing Director Senthil Raj, Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Managing Director Aneesh Shekhar, Joint Managing Director Vishu Mahajan, Power Distribution Director A.R. Mascarenhas and many others.
