Will non-vegetarian food be banned in Vande Bharat trains?: Railways told

Tamil Nadu : Southern Railway has said that the news of non-vegetarian food not being served in Vande Bharat trains is false.

During ticket booking for Vande Bharat trains from Chennai to Nagercoil, Mysore, Bengaluru and Tirunelveli, it was reported that the online app showed that the breakfast menu does not include non-vegetarian food, and non-vegetarian food will be served only in lunch and dinner.

Moreover, when the news spread that non-vegetarian food has been canceled in Vande Bharat trains, Southern Railway has denied it. Moreover, a press release issued by Southern Railway stated that due to technical glitches during the ticket booking process, the list of non-vegetarian food was not displayed to the passengers and the railway administration is working fast to fix this problem.
