Thane: Railway toilets damaged by miscreants

Maharashtra : Public toilets at Thane railway station were vandalised by anti-social elements on the night of 23 May 2025. Toilets on multiple platforms were found badly damaged and blocked, causing considerable inconvenience to passengers and resulting in damage to railway property.

According to CR, the affected toilet locations include the toilet located on platform number 1 at the Kalyan end, which is broken and blocked. The toilet located on platform number 2 located in the middle section is also broken and blocked, and the toilet located at the Kalyan end of platform number 2 is also broken. Additionally, the toilet located on platform number 10A in the middle section, as well as another toilet located on platform number 10A, are also broken and blocked.
