Tamil Nadu : Water flow in Mettur Dam reduced to 2878 cubic feet.

Rainfall in the catchment areas of Cauvery has reduced. Due to this, the amount of water coming into Mettur Dam has started decreasing.

Water flow in Mettur Dam was 5,725 cubic feet per second yesterday (May 24) morning, which has reduced to 2,878 cubic feet per second today (May 25) morning.

Water is being released from the dam at the rate of 1,000 cubic feet per second for drinking water needs.

The water level of Mettur Dam, which was at 111.51 feet yesterday morning, has increased to 111.60 feet this morning. The water storage of the dam is 80.70 TMC.
