Flood prevention work should be completed soon: CM gave orders

Tamil Nadu : Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has ordered the government department officials to complete the flood prevention works in Chennai soon.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inspected various areas under the Chennai Corporation on Tuesday. The Chief Minister inspected works such as removing Agayathamarai from the canal on Waldox Road, constructing a storm water drain on Damelus Road and improving the Otteri Nala canal.
He also personally inspected the floodplain removal work using a robotic excavation vehicle in the Buckingham Canal in the Kalyanapuram area. At that time, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin ordered the government department officials to complete all the ongoing flood prevention works in the areas under the Chennai Corporation as soon as possible and complete the work with the necessary additional workers and machinery, according to a press release from the Tamil Nadu government.
Hindu Religious and Endowments Minister P.K. Sekharbabu, Mayor R. Priya and others were present during the inspection.
