A 35-year-old woman was raped in Jabalpur on the pretext of giving her a government job

Madhya Pradesh : A 35-year-old woman was allegedly raped by an assistant engineer in the name of getting her a government job in Jabalpur. The victim approached the police in Jabalpur and lodged a formal complaint against the assistant engineer on Sunday. The accused Pankaj Singh Parihar works in the Panchayat Department in Samnapur district of Dindori district. According to the complaint, the accused had promised the woman a government job in the Panchayat Department. He took her to Dindori and said that he would introduce her to some officials in Amarkantak.
