Ganja seized; 3 arrested by Dhakuakhana Police

LAKHIMPUR: Dhakuakhana Police on Wednesday managed to seize a large quantity of ganja and arrested three persons. As per report, a team of police personnel, as per instruction of the Dhakuakhana Subdivisional Police Officer, at first launched an operation at Bakulguri village and seized 2.700 kg ganja and arrested a youth named Nikul Deury. Later, as per inputs from Nikul Deury, the team of police personnel launched another operation at Makarachuk village and seized 22.400 kg ganja from the possession of two women. The women have been identified as Meena Kalita and Nijumoni Baruah who were arrested during the operation. The second operation was launched with the assistance of women police personnel
