Woman Maoist killed in encounter in Chhattisgarh-Odisha border, details here

Malkangiri/Bijapur: An exchange of fire took place between police and Maoists in the forest on the southwestern border of Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, bordering Malkangiri district in Odisha.
According to reports, a woman Maoist was killed in a police encounter. This success was achieved during the anti-Maoist operation by DRG, STF and CRPF Cobra jawans.
The security forces have recovered a gun and a large quantity of Maoist explosives from the scene. The security forces suspect that more Maoists have been killed. Hence the search operation is still underway in this regard.
It is worth mentioning here that, during one of the most high-risk anti-Naxal operations underway in the KGH Hills along the Chhattisgarh–Telangana border, CRPF Assistant Commandant Sagar Borade sustained serious injuries.
According to reports, he was airlifted to Delhi AIIMS on Monday and his condition is stable now.
