Vizhinjam International Seaport at Kerala to be inaugurated by PM Modi on May 2

Vizianagaram: Vizhinjam International Seaport, India’s first semi-automated transshipment port, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 2.

According to the X post of the Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan, the port has handled 265 ships and 5.48 lakh TEUs since the commercial launch. The Vizhinjam port marks Kerala’s rise on the global maritime trade map.
