China increases tariff on imports from US to 125%

Beijing Beijing: China has raised import tariffs on all products coming from the US to 125%. The decision came on Friday as President Xi Jinping said “there are no winners in a tariff war” during a meeting with Spain’s prime minister and offered cooperation to the European Union to counter US “pressure”.
China’s commerce ministry said the 84% tariff already in place has now been raised to 125% and could be the final response to the trade conflict.
